Description

A community conversation on death, dying, and what it means to live fully. Death is one of the few things we all share—yet it’s often the least talked about. Join us for a Death Café, a gently facilitated, open conversation where we come together in a safe, respectful, and welcoming space to explore thoughts, questions, and experiences around death and dying. This is not a grief support group or therapy session, but rather an opportunity to: • Reflect on what makes a “good death” • Share perspectives, fears, and curiosities • Speak openly about end-of-life wishes • Listen, connect, and normalize these important conversations Guided by Death Café principles, this space is: ☕ Open to all ☕ Free from ideology or agenda ☕ Confidential and judgment-free ☕ Grounded in respect for all beliefs and perspectives We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the Death Café concept, its origins, and shared agreements for the space. From there, we’ll open into conversation—guided by thoughtful prompts if needed, or simply allowing what wants to be shared to emerge. Facilitated by: Mariclare McCann, RN & Certified Death Doula, offering grounded guidance on how to approach end-of-life conversations with clarity, honesty, and care. 📍 Karma House Community Wellness Center - a 501(c)3 💛 Donation: $5, $10, $15 🕊️ Drop-in welcome Come as you are—with your questions, your thoughts, or simply your presence.
